There's lots of super awesome people that make up our team. We couldn't do it without all these staff and volunteers (plus the many other volunteers who help us out so often). Thank you all!

Scott "The Rocketman" Leighton
Morning Lift-off Host
Having grown up in a community that did not have a Christian radio station, Scott thinks it's awesome to not only be in a community that has JoyFM, but be a part of it. As a self professed “non-morning person”, to get up and start his day off playing music that focusses on Jesus, and be able to daily share his heart with JOY's awesome listeners, is considered a huge privilege and blessing.
Being part of the JoyFM Network has been a big encouragement to Scott's walk with Christ. Life's ups and downs come, but the music and sharing God's Word each morning helps him focus on the Truth of God's Word, even when he may not feel it.
Scott believes in the ministry and purpose of the Joy FM Network because he believes in the message and person of Jesus who JOY not just promotes, but celebrates. Many years ago, God used JoyFM to, literally, save Scott's life and he counts it a privilege to be a part of this weapon in the greater Fredericton community.
Mid-day Express Host
Davie was born and raised right here in Freddy Beach and a proud graduate of good ole Fredericton High School. He is happily married to my wife of a dozen years and they are parents to four (yes four) beautiful daughters.
"The Giant Ginger" loves most sports with hockey (NY Islanders) being his favorite. Though some would say he is a crazy Disney fan (he is), he enjoys camping in the summer, he's a member of the Marysville Y Service Club, and can be found encouraging and being that friendly face to greet and meet you at his home church of Marysville Baptist.
As the Mid-day Express host, Davie brings lots of enthusiasm, silliness, fun and "Birthday Wishes" to get you through your lunch hour break.
"Smile, someone could use one!"

When she's not hosting "Catalyst Collective", you can find her giving dope hair cuts and making hair dreams come true at her workplace, Klüb Soda. Amped at 11 Co-Host
Born and raised in the majestic hills of Keswick Ridge, the festively-plump Christian Monteith is no stranger to the amazing people in the greater Fredericton area. Developing an irreverent sense of humor as a coping method for the difficulties of life, Christian is always down for a good (or bad) laugh.
Channeling strength from his ratty beard, he finds himself putting most of his efforts into school. In his off-time however, the beast is unleashed along with his good pal Reed in the form of Amped @ 11.
While he does his best to understand that Amped @ 11’s abrasive music isn’t for everyone, he still believes in the strong message behind the cookie monster death screams.
From Hillsong Bible college in Australia, to church planting in Vancouver, Cory just moved to Fredericton with his wife Melissa and daughter Emersyn from Vancouver BC. They have crossed country to help plant a brand new church here in the city. While they plant a church they have a huge heart to see lives changed and love grow in Jesus' name so they have been helping out at JoyFM. Cory has been a part of Joy Cares missions and sales at the station. Between a new place, new job, and new baby, he still has time to geek out on comics, movies and video games! Always wanting to connect with people, invite him out for a coffee and hang out!
