What is Village of Hope?
Village of Hope is a faith-based drug and alcohol regeneration facility located in Upper Tracy, New Brunswick. Founded in 2008 by Pastors Andrew and Märt Vähi, this ten-month residential program helps men and women overcome addiction through a unique community living approach.
The program combines Christian principles with practical elements – including work experience, skills training, and emotional healing – all while participants live and recover together in a supportive environment along the North Branch of the Oromocto River. Operating entirely through donations, Village of Hope welcomes students from across Canada, focusing on complete life transformation through spiritual, emotional, and physical regeneration.

“What we see here isn’t just people getting clean – we see complete life transformation. They reconnect with their families, find meaningful work, and discover their purpose. Many even return to help others on their journey.” – Village of Hope Program Director
